5th Annual Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria on August 23rd 2015

VICTORIA, BC - Registration for the 5th annual Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is now open. The Tour de Victoria is a non-competitive, mass participation ride that welcomes Riders of all ages and abilities from around the world. The ride features world-class cycling routes and breathtaking scenery that Victoria, BC has to offer. Organizers have made a few changes to the route to enhance the cycling experience and welcome more riders, while continuing to feature the incredible cycling roads that Victoria is famous for.

The 2015 ride features three distances, offering an opportunity for riders of all fitness levels to take part:

  • Harbour Air Epic – 140km for the experienced cyclist

  • Legend – 85km for the cycling enthusiast

  • Challenge – 45km for the entry-level cyclist

Riders can register now to take advantage of Super Early Bird pricing at $60 for the Challenge and $175 for the Legend and Harbour Air Epic. Regular pricing will be $110 for the Challenge and $215 for the Legend and Harbour Air Epic.

The Tour de Victoria has also introduced promotional pricing for youth riders, 18 years and under, to encourage youth cycling development. Other notable changes for the 2015 ride include special pricing for groups of 10 or more riders and a new Charity Program that offers ride benefits to riders that fundraise.
 
Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is produced by Ryder’s Cycling Society of Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, and supporting, cycling across the country.
