When A Waffle Is Too Much, A Wafer Is Just Right
Five years ago, the Belgian Waffle Ride introduced riders to the most unique cycling event they could ever imagine
A ronde replete with waffles, categorized climbs, stretches of pave, road, elevation well over 10,000 feet and unusual surprises dotted across a 140+ mile course.
Following this success, the creators of the BWR unveiled the Wafer Ride in 2015, giving riders a chance to partake in all the festivities of the BWR while taking on only half of the punishing route. Popular for those who are balancing a heavy race season, recovering from injuries or simply don't have enough time to train, the Wafer delivers the challenge and excitement of the Waffle ride in a fun-sized package.
A perfect option for those entering their First Gravel Grinder type event, the Wafer ride will take riders on a 70 mile ronde through mixed terrain on April 24, 2016, and will serve up a few of the BWR's iconic dirt sections, climbs, feature CHP escorts, support vehicles, aid-station excitement and much, much more.
Less than 50 spots remain for this year's Belgian Waffle Ride and Wafer ride, and they will sell out!
