VIDEO: Angry Cavendish stops mid-race to speak with spectator

Mark Cavendish (Dimension Data) stopped in the middle of the Tour of Britain stage today to have a word with a spectator on the side of the road.

In the video Cavendish is seen gesturing to the man who is holding what appears to be a selfie stick.

The incident occured just after Cavendish had been working on the front of the peloton for teammate Stephen Cummings, who finished second on the stage. Cavendish came in nearly 14 minutes down on the winner. The selfie stick and spectators taking selfies was a notable problem for the Tour de France stages in Great Britain in 2014.
