Cyclist who gave Donald Trump the middle finger is fired from job
A photo of Juli Briskman flipping off President Trump's motorcade while riding her bike went viral, and now, her employer has fired her for it
Briskman, who worked in the marketing department for government firm Akima LLC, said she had no idea the photo had been taken and was shocked when it went viral.
“You’re fired! He was passing by and my blood just started to boil. I’m thinking, DACA recipients are getting kicked out,” she said.
“He pulled ads for open enrolment in Obamacare,” she continued. “Only one-third of Puerto Rico has power. I'm thinking he's at a Damn golf course again."
The 50-year-old mother of two used it as her social media profile photos.
“They said, ‘We’re separating from you,‘” said Briskman. “Basically, you cannot have ‘lewd’ or ‘obscene’ things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off "obsene"
Briskam points out that a male co-worker who had called someone “a fucking Libtard asshole” on Facebook was not fired.
She said: “How is that any less ‘obscene’ than me flipping off the president? How is that fair?”.
