Phil Gaimon's Incredible Power Output
Phil put the other competitors into distress during from the gun. The first 6 km segment known as the Bici Bucerias Las Palmas Loop, Phil maintained well over 400 watts on the uphill portions and an blistering 33.9 km average over the segment. This was just too much for the rest of the pack and from that point, Phil was in the one man break.
Veloguide Supports Equal Prize Money For Women
There was a total prize pool of just under $44,000 pesos. Each competitor had the chance to double their prize if they were able to beat Phil. It did not happen this year! Prize money was equal for both the men and women. We look forward to continuing this practice in the next year’s edition.
