UK Cyclist Spreads Festive Cheer with Strava Santa

UK cyclist spreads a little festive cheer with Santa on Strava

'Tis the season to be jolly and Anthony Hoyte did that spending a Saturday last year riding 66km around the city of Birmingham in order to create Father Christmas.

Hoyte cycled around the ciry for over four and a half hours at an average of 9 miles an hour.

The artwork is so good, Hoyte must have taken ages planning the ride, having to back up on himself on the narrow streets of Birmingham to create Santa's face.

After that, Hoyte continued around the suburbs to complete Santa's big beard and famous red hat!

Strava addicts have praised his work, some even calling Hoyte cycling's answer to the famous unknown artist Banksy.

This is not the first time Hoyte has created a winter wonderland, his previous 88.4 mile snowman was created around the busy streets of UK's capital London the year before that!
