The courses for both the time trial and the road races have now been approved by local authorities.

The road races will start in Elizabeth Quay in the city center of Perth and follow the same route as the qualifier event back in March for the opening kilometers. The finish will be in Kalamunda near the airport with the famous Zig Zag Road a major challenge just a few kilometers before the finish.
Men up to the age of 54 have a 159km World Championships while all ladies and men above 55 will complete a 106km course.
From Perth, riders follow the Mitchell Freeway and Reid Highway before entering Zig Zag Road at kilometer 50 after a rather easy start. From then, roads are always going up and down but are never very steep. All riders cross the finish line for the first time after 56km for a first loop over Mundaring. The World Championships course then goes left and leaves the qualifier course from March to go via Glen Forrest and Darlington back to Zig Zag Road for a second time. Females and older male age groups continue climbing for four kilometers to the finish whilst the younger males complete a second loop to finish after 159km.
