The Marmotte – an iconic name for every cyclist
The race Marmotte was created in 1982 at the request of Alpe d'Huez in order to kick off the summer season. The cycling event quickly came to be considered a classic during the first weekend of July, becoming the benchmark for many cyclists in France and elsewhere. The concept has already been successfully created in the Pyrenees and will also be brought to the Austrian Alps this year. T
The 2017 LOOK Granfondo Series will start on June 17th with Marmotte Hochkönig.
