Bluewater International Sells Out Again

The 2nd editon of one of the fastest growing Canadian Gran Fondos, has sold out again, with more places!

Gran Fondo Guide is pleased to annouce that the Bluewater International Gran Fondo taking place August 6th, Sarnia, Ontario has SOLD out again after places were increased to 750 rdiers.

New this year for participants is the Sarnia Greek Fest offering a pasta dinner on the evening of Saturday, August 5th for Granfondo Riders. You can find more info about the dinner below.

Ride With Toronto Hustle

New this year are the participation of Toronto Hustle.

Toronto Hustle who are reshaping the way professional cycling is developed, delivered and sustained through grassroots community building. They have spent the season battling it out in the pro North American peloton, up against top talent from across the continent and are now looking forward to riding with you and to leading you out for the Timed Sections!

The Hold Fast series aims to shed light on the highs and lows of racing in the North American professional peloton. Over the course of the season, Toronto Hustle riders will share their unique stories.

The BIGF will again be part of the Giordana Gran Fondo National Championship Series of events across North America and points will be awarded that will count towards the overall championship.

The inaugural Gran Fondo raised over $30,000 which went towards palliative care programs at Bluewater Health and St. Joseph’s Hospice, including professional development training for medical staff.

“That encouraged us that we could do it again because we had such strong support,” said Jonathan Palumbo, Gran Fondo vice-chair and Bluewater Health Foundation chairperson.
