BMC Racing win opening Team Time Trial
Rohan Dennis takes the red leaders jersey on the opening stage at the 2017 Vuelta a Espana, with Quick-Step Floors second and team Sunweb third
It was BORA - Hansgrohe who set the fastest time of 16 mins 19 secs working hard for their GC favorite Rafal Majka.
It lasted until Team SunWeb set the fastest time by just 1 second, quickly overturned by Quick-Step Floors who went faster.
Bad Crash for Lotto-NL Jumbo
Two riders from LottoNL-Jumbo had a particularly nasty crash, the back two riders going down pretty hard, unknown what happened.

Next up, favorites BMC Racing Team set fastest in a time of 15 min 58 secs, which remained as the final teams came across the line.
Team Sky nine finished seconds slower and fourth overall, Chris Froome pleased with the team's performance.
Last to finish Trek-Segafredo were 35 seconds off pace and the team finished 11th overall, Contador shouting encouragement to his team mates in the finishing straight.
Biggest losers of the day were Fabio Aru, Romain Bardet, Rui Costa and Louis Meintjes who are over 40 seconds down on the GC standings. Vincenzo Nibali, Ilnur Zakarin and Alberto Contador over 30 seconds down.
Warren Barguil, Wilco Kelderman and Wout Poels in the top ten and less than 10 seconds behind leader Rohan Dennis
It was a good day for the BMC Team consisting of Samuel Sánchez, Damiano Caruso, Alessandro De Marchi, Rohan Dennis, Kilian Frankiny, Daniel Oss, Nicholas Roche, Tejay Van Garderen and Francisco Ventoso.
Stage 2 on Sunday August 20 is from Nimes to Gruissan, the 201 km stage in France is extremely flat. and likely to come down to a bunch sprint.
