New Super Gran Fondo Galibier-Izoard Revealed

Sportcommunication, the organizers of the Look Marmotte Gran Fondo and Grand Trophee Series, have revealed details of a new Super Gran Fondo Galibier-Izoard to take place June 23rd 2018 with 4,500m of climbing

The new event leaves little to the imagination, 'Great cols of the Galibier and Izoard United.. Both climbs include 2,645 meters and 2,360 meters of climbing respectively, these cols are two of the highest, most beautiful and most attractive in the French Alps.

This new rendezvous in the heart of the French Alps with 2 passes of HC category climbs. Starting from Valloire, the route climbs the Galibier, Lautaret, Guillestre, Col d'Izoard with an arrival by its other side at the top of the Col du Galibier 2652m, this is the challenge that launches in 2018 the Supergranfondo.

In 2019, the course will change direction from Serre-Chevalier and finish at the top of Col d'Izoard 2,361m. Change gear and battle these two monsters of cycling with Supergranfondo.

The 180 km course, features, 4,500m of climbing!

Also to be revealed, is full details of the new Marmotte Gran Fondo Valais that takes place in Switzerland on August 11th. The event is likely to start at Crans Montana Ski Station and finish in Verbier. 

A third new event to the Sportcommunication calendar, part of the Gran Trophee series ois the Gran Fondo Vosges on Sunday, May 20th from La Bresse. 

Entries for the Sportcommunication events open on Monday November 6th 2018. Some of the events, especially the Look Marmotte Gran Fondo Alps will sell out in a day, so you need to be ready for to enter early on the day!

Please Note: From November 6th to 12th, only "PACKAGES" registrations are open. From November 13th, registrations will be open for all events.
