Androni, Israel, Wilier and Bardiani selected for Giro d'Italia
The 101st edition of the Giro d'Italia and has selected 4 professionals teams to join the 18 WorldTour teams at the start on May 4th in Jerusalem, Israel
RCS Sport, organizer of the Giro d'Italia, has made official the wild card choices for the 101st edition of the fight for pink.
The tem selected are: Androni, Israel Cycling Academy, Wilier-Selle Italia and Bardiani-CSF.
The 4 professional teams are added to the 18 World Tour: Ag2r, Astana, Bahrain-Merida, BMC, Bora-Hansgrohe, Dimension-Data, FDJ, Lotto Soudal, Mitchelton-Scott, Movistar, Quick-step-Floors, EF-Cannondale, Katusha -Alpecin, Lotto NL-Jumbo, Sky, Sunweb, Trek-Segafredo, UAE-Emirates.
A total of 22 teams of 8 riders. The race will start on Friday 4 May in Jerusalem and will end on Sunday 27 May in Rome.

For Strade Bianche, two invitations went to Androni and Nippo-Fantini.
For Tirreno-Adriatico, four invitations went to Gazprom, Israel Cycling Academy, Nippo-Fantini and Wilier-Selle Italia.
For Milan-Sanremo, seven invitations went for Bardiani, Cofidis, Gazprom, Israel Cycling Team, Nippo-Fantini, Novo Nordisk, Wilier-Selle Italy.
