Gran Fondo Organizers Invited to Gran Fondo World Tour ® Congress
The expanding global Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series is inviting event organizers to Carmel, Indiana, in the USA on September 13th-15th for the inaugural Gran Fondo World Tour ® Congress
In 2019, the Gran Fondo World Tour ® was excitied to announce a huge global expansion of its series calendar in 2019 with six additional events in North America, Europe and Asia, plus a new world wide event partnership named the Gran Fondo World ® by Ride with GPS.
The 2019 series represents the widest calendar in Gran Fondo Series to date with a global participation of over 50,000 participants, with events across more than 20 countries worldwide and 4 continents.
The Gran Fondo World Tour ® is the first amateur Gran Fondo series with world-ranking taking part worldwide at exciting locations, including the USA, Canada, France, Norway, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, South Korea and South Africa.
The overall cash prize again this year is $36,000 USD, and was extended to award the top 5 men and top 5 women overall.
Participants need to complete at least 3 events to be eligible for the overall cash prizes. This is to support the growth of participation in series and help support the growth of International participation too.
Also new is the Gran Fondo World Championship ® One Day race, which will have cash prizes of $3,000 USD for the over all winners, taking place at the Rollfast Gran Fondo in Carmel, Indiana, USA at the same time as the inaugural Congress.
With that growth, the Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series is extending an open invite to all Gran Fondo event organizers to attend the inaugural Congress.
