More than 3,000 cyclists and thousands more spectators descend on the evo-city of Bathurst, 2.5 Hours West of Sydney, each March for the renowned Bathurst Cycling Classic. This is a multi-faceted three-day showcase of cycling which incorporates the UCI sanctioned Bathurst2Bathurst Gran Fondo, a hill climb on the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit, a criterium series and an event village in the heart of Bathurst. Racing is on fully closed roads and draws participants of all abilities from across NSW and interstate.

BATHURST 2 BATHURST - SUNDAY 15 MARCH 2020

More than 2,500 riders will cycle the new Mark Renshaw designed Bathurst 2 Bathurst courses in 2020. For the first time ever the B2B will start and finish in the Bathurst CBD. Riders can choose from a 100km and 50km course, both of which feature fully closed roads. The 100km course is sanctioned by the Union Cycliste International (UCI) and is one of three Australian qualifying events for the Union Cyclist International UCI Gran Fondo World Championship. The B2B features elite and recreational waves with participation opportunities for cyclists of all abilities.

NSW HILL CLIMB CHAMPIONSHIPS - SATURDAY 14 MARCH 2020

The NSW Hill Climb Championships take place on the legendary Mount Panorama circuit on Saturday March 14, 2020.  The 4.1km course starts at Harris Park and ascends to the finish in Sulman and Reid Parks a top the famous race track. There is a 141-metre vertical difference between the low and high points of Mount Panorama. This event is open to registered Cycling Australia ‘Race’ members only and attracts some 200 participants annually.

CRITERIUM RACING - SATURDAY 14 MARCH 2020

Mount Panorama erupts with an epic day of racing including the Hill Climb and criteriums on Saturday March 14, 2020. Twelve criteriums, and presentations, are conducted throughout the day with racing from under 9’s through to Division 1 Men’s and Women’s racing on an action packed course.The nab B2B Cycling Festival is a sporting challenge designed to attract the elite rider as well as the sporting enthusiast and the social rider. The courses begin in Blayney and are set over either 110 or 70 kilometres. It winds its way through beautiful autumn countryside to Trunkey Creek, Newbridge, Georges Plains, Rockley Mount and Perthville before finishing in Bathurst at iconic Mount Panorama. Sunday also features an 11km Family Fun Challenge for all ages at the Pit Complex.
