Paris-Nice

March 05 - March 12 2017
Paris, France

The 75th edition of Paris-Nice will take place from Sunday, 5 March to Sunday, 12 March 2017. The race goes back to 1933 and is after the Grand Tours one of the most important stage races on the cycling calendar. As in recent years, the riders will be shot into action in the Yvelines department, to the west of Paris. Obviously, the finish is in Nice. Rumour has it the famous Col d’Èze is to be featured in the route.

Geraint Thomas is title holder. With a brilliant descent of Col d’Èze he held off an Alberto Contador attack at the eleventh hour, winning the Race to the Sun with a 4 seconds margin. Richie Porte finished in third.
