Knoxville Gran Fondo

Knoxville Gran Fondo

June 21 2018
Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

The Knoxville Gran Fondo provides amateur racers the opportunity to take part in the excitement of USA Cycling. Watch for more information to be announced about the time, location and participation of what will prove to be an outstanding day of racing in Knoxville.

The inspiration for the Knoxville Gran Fondo came from the late Sam Beall.  Sam was a dedicated family man, the proprietor of Blackberry Farm and an avid cyclist.

Blackberry Farm has long been a supporter of cycling. The internationally celebrated resort hosts an annual Pro-Am and a spring Tour de Smokies. Sam felt that people in Knoxville were ready for a new type of charity event – something out of the ordinary, and that Knoxville - at the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains, was the perfect place. Thus, the Knoxville Gran Fondo was born.

Blackberry Farm will be providing VIP hospitality for sponsors and Blackberry Farm guests during the Knoxville Gran Fondo and the 2017 USA Cycling Volkswagen Pro Road & Time Trial National Championships.
