The 100/200 (A.K.A. 200-on-100) is a one-day bicycle ride that travels from the Canadian border to the Massachusetts state line, primarily on Vermont's route 100.  This ride began in 1984 and has long been respected as one of, if not the premiere double-centuries in this beautiful and challenging state.  The first half of the ride is relatively easy, with widely spaced and long, but moderate climbs.  It's in the second century that things get interesting, with three significant and long climbs of increasing difficulty.

In spite of the exceptional challenge this ride presents, the organizers have come to believe that it is within the ability of any experienced cyclist who prepares themselves.  Riders who do not finish often come back to try again.  Those who do finish often come back as well.  The 100/200 has been described as "A dumptruck of awesome" by Ted King. See our website at for full details.
