FoCo Fondo Bite the Bullet Gravel Fondo

FoCo Fondo Bite the Bullet Gravel Fondo

August 12 2017
Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

The Bite the Bullet Gravel Fondo highlights some of Northern Colorado's best-kept gravel secrets. Enjoy at 53 or 100 mile route with aid stations along the way to refuel and rehydrate. Smash the marked Strava segment on the course for a chance to win $100.

Foco Fondo is a Fort Collins based event company founded by Jake Arnold and Zack Allison in 2016. “We wanted to promote a gravel fondo in Fort Collins, we have amazing roads here that even most locals haven’t ever seen” says Zack Allison. After years of training and racing professionally, Jake and Zack have ridden pretty much every road around and the gravel events are underserved in northern Colorado. Bite the Bullet as an old Western theme came from Zack’s love of Western movies, Bite the Bullet being one of his favourites about a famous horse
race across the West.

For 2017 FoCo Fondo teams up with marketing specialist Whitney Allison. FoCo Fondo is committed to keeping its focus on amazing gravel route selection, highlighting Northern Colorado’s beautiful rural roads and local businesses.

One major change for 2017 is that a percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Laramie River Foothills Bison Conservation Herd. They are actively seeking to raise funds to expand the buffalo’s area this year.

We are proud to raise money towards conservation project such as this that keeps Northern Colorado beautiful, wild, and free.
