Distances: 533 km

The "Race across the alps" with start and finish in the Reschenpassgemeinde Nauders is probably the toughest one-day test in the world, which can be imagined on a racing bike.

In this show of strength, which leads through the three countries of Italy, Switzerland and Austria and different climatic zones, every year real heroes are born.

The event is elitist - approved are only up to 60 long distance riders who are able to create this almost 540 km long distance with the 14,000 altitude difference in 32 hours. The mountain roads that are to be traveled await you with their sonorous names - and for the most part they are on the terrain of the Giro d`Italia as well as well-known Tour de Suisse stages.

Passo Stelvio, Passo Gavia, the extremely steep Mortirolo and the ski station Aprica on Italian - as well as Bernina-, Albula-, Flüela- Ofen- and Umbrailpass on Swiss side are non-stop in this extreme tour.
