Distances: 30, 50, 75 miles
Difficulty: Moderate terrain with rolling short steep hills or moderate, sustained climbs
Limited to: 500 Participants

Fondo Fredericksburg attracts both recreational and competitive cyclists who compete in one of three distances: 30 miles, 50 miles or 75 miles. While more recreational in nature, several timed sections along each route offer a competitive element for cyclists looking for a challenge. In the end, it’s all about personal achievement! The two-day event is comprised of a retail expo, athlete check-in and late registration on Saturday followed by the rides on Sunday. The event culminates with a food truck & craft beer festival and live music.

Situated midway between Washington D.C. and Richmond along the I-95 corridor, you’ll never run out of things to do in Fredericksburg. From visiting battlefields, museums and George Washington’s boyhood home to exploring the historic downtown with its brick sidewalks, one-of-a-kind restaurants, art galleries, ghost tours, beautiful private homes and numerous specialty, craft and antique shops in restored 18th- and 19th-century buildings. The event starts and finishes in Dixon Park on the banks of the Rappahannock River and features gently rolling hills throughout Stafford and Spotsylvania counties and past Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, marking the spot of four bloody Civil War battles.
