Hurt'n Albert'n

Hurt'n Albert'n

August 10 - August 12 2018
Beiseker, Alberta, Canada

A self-supported, unsanctioned ultra-distance gravel race spanning the Southern Alberta countryside, from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains across the prairie to the Badlands. The race offers participants an opportunity to compete, to challenge oneself, to push limits and to set new bests while fostering a set of core values: community, friendship, sportsmanship, self-improvement, exploration and adventure.

NEW for 2018!!

3 formats will be offered:

?(1) The Original Hurt'n Albert'n (550km Solo)
(2) Tag a Friend (550km 2-person relay)
(3) The Li'l Hurt Gravel Double (Solo "Double Century" ~ 200mi. / 320km)

Once again, we'll be using the Beiseker Town Campground as homebase for all three event formats; it will serve as the Start/Midpoint/Finish for "The Original" and "Tag a Friend" and Start/Finish for "The Li'l Hurt Gravel Double".

Event inclusions will be standardized:

?(1) Camping at Beiseker Town Campground (2 nights for 550km distances, 1 night for 320km distance)
(2) 3 meals (Friday night BBQ, Pre-race breaky, mid- / post-race BBQ & possibly some secret treats)
(3) Trackleaders registration and rental of SPOT GPS transponder
(4) A memento to commemorate your participation
(5) A donation to our Charitable Partner, Two Wheel View. Click here for more details on this partnership.?

A set fee will be charged at time of registration to cover expenses associated with above inclusions.

Yes, we're getting a little more organized but the following will remain unchanged:

(1) The event will remain profit-neutral, with 100% of proceeds being donated to Two Wheel View
(2) The event will remain unsanctioned & self-supported. This means that YOU are still 100% responsible for your own safety and well-        being while on-route.
