La Bourgogne Cyclo

La Bourgogne Cyclo

April 27 - April 28, 2024 - Viré en Mâconnais France

Good wine doesn’t require a wreath, and a good cycling tour doesn’t either! This year, for the third time, the Bourgogne Cyclo departs from Viré en Mâconnais, a charming village known for its wine. Based on a brand new mapped course, you follow the Route des vins Mâconnais Beaujolais where you can test your legs on vineyard-covered hills.

After departing in Viré, the route takes you North where several challenges are waiting for you. After climbing the col des Chèvres, the col de Brançion and the consecutive climbs of the col de la Pistole/col de la Croix you are only halfway through this unique challenge. Four other cols are still waiting for you: le col des 4 Vents, la Croix Montmaint (the highest point on the course), la Grange du Bois and a tricky tough part in between Péronne and Burgy. Thanks to its technical course and tough character, La Bourgogne Cyclo is a legendary tour.
