Old Man Winter did not Disappoint at Oskar Blues Brewery Rally

This years Oskar Blues Brewery Old Man Winter Rally was colder than previous years and the week before saw heavy snow fall around Lyons, Colorado in the U.S.

Old Man Winter did not disappoint, with a mixture of pavement, gravel, ice, snow and mud on the day as hundreds tackled 50 or 100 km through routes around the world-famous cycling mecca of Boulder County. The Rowena trail was 98% unrideable and involved a 20 to 30 minute "snow hike".

For those who rode, it definitely may have been the most fun they have had all winter - although it sounds like Old Man Winter had the last laugh!

The Rise of Battenkill - Americas Biggest One Day Race and Gran Fondo

Since it began over 10 years ago, the Tour of Battenkill, orginally called the Battenkill-Roubaix in upstate New York - has skyrocketed. So exactly why has Battenkill captured the hearts of so many cyclists and cycling fans?

The Tour of Battenkill's steep punchy climbs are legendary in shattering fields of riders, both amateur and Pro alike. The course smashes riders, pummelling them through majestic open farmlands, dark narrow covered bridges, choking dust, gravel, mud, the kind of rural roads you wish you could ride each day.

There's still limited space to enter the Gran Fondo on April 18th in upstate New York.
