Giordana GFNCS Series announces new venue for May 7th Georgia event

Nestled in Mountains of White County, the 2017 Tour of Georgia Gran Fondo will see a fresh and exciting change of venue! The 2017 edition starts and finishes in downtown Helen under the shadow of the mountains made famous by the 2003-2008 Tour de Georgia.

Each rider is provided an electronic timing-chip to keep track of their progress throughout the course and to allow riders to compete for best time through highlighted sections of the course. Riders from all over the U.S. take part - such is the beauty and challenge of the terrain.

Registration is open for of the best Gran Fondos in the Appalachian mountains.

Bluewater International Gran Fondo set for Expansion in 2017

Ontario’s newest Gran Fondo, sold out in advance last year, and raised over $30K for charity.

Organizers of the Bluewater International Gran Fondo are expanding due to the overwhelming success, increasing entries to 750 participants for the second edition on August 6th 2017.

The Gran Fondo starts and finishes along the shores of Lake Huron at Mike Weir Park, Sarnia in Ontario and features 3 distances for all abilities. Overall male and female winners plus the various age group winners will be determined by the overall lowest cumulative time from the timed sections. The BIGF will again be part of the Giordana Gran Fondo National Championship Series of events across North America and points will be awarded that will count towards the overall championship.

Hundreds of cyclists enjoyed the spring sunshine in Florida in the opening event of the 2017 Giordana Gran Fondo National Championships.

Centered in the rolling orange groves of Pasco County, the Gran Fondo Florida course started and ended in San Antonio, FL. Riders enjoyed 3 routes from the 35 mile Piccolo Fondo, the 55 mile Medio Fondo and the 100 mile Gran Fondo.

One of cycling’s top commentators Frankie Andreu was on hand as MC.

Friends of the Smokies Announces Fourth Annual Gran Fondo at New Belgium Brewery

Take on a summer challenge and cycle through scenic countryside and vibrant cityscapes at the fourth annual Gran Fondo Asheville hosted by New Belgium on July 23, 2017.

The cycling event offers 30-, 60-, and 100-mile routes with optional, competitive timed sections. Proceeds from the event benefit Friends of the Smokies.

The ride will begin and end at New Belgium Brewery, where cyclists and their families can enjoy a festive atmosphere and experience Asheville’s craft beer culture.
