WorldTour racing should restart with Strade Bianche on August 1st

Leaked UCI calendar could see the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana overlap each other

The revised UCI calendar has the season kickoff August 1 with Strade Bianche.

The first monument of the season will be Milano-Sanremo coming the following weekend.

The Tour de France will take place on its new announced dates, August 29 – September 20.

The Giro d’Italia then follows from October 3-25, while the Vuelta a Espana is slated for October 20 – November 8.

Liege-Bastogne-Liege would take place on October 4, the Tour of Flanders on October 18. Paris-Roubaix is set for November 1.

The last race in the calendar would be Il Lombardia on Sunday November 14. 

The definitive UCI plan is due to be published on Tuesday morning next week.
