Tour

America's Queen of the Classics UCI event cancelled due to lack of funding.

The very popular Pro/Am and Gran Fondo events scheduled 2 weeks earlier on Saturday, May 20th are to go ahead as normal.

With approximately 3,000 starters across 38 races in recent years, it probably is America's largest single day Pro/Am race and Gran Fondo. Over 2,800 starters in the Saturday amateur races including the Gran Fondo which culminates on the Sunday, with the Pro/Am race attracting over 150 professional bike riders.

Axeon Hagens Berman Mourns Chad Young

Chad Young did not survive his crash last Sunday on the Tour of the Gila.

The 21-year-old from Newmarket, New Hampshire, suffered severe head injuries in a high-speed mountain descent and was life-flighted to a hospital in Tucson, Arizona. He was initially listed in stable condition with severe facial lacerations, although on Tuesday, Young’s team announced that he was in critical condition.

Big Bear Lake to Host Cylance Pro Cycling for Altitude Training Camp Ahead of Tour of the Gila

Cylance Pro Cycling is returning to the mountainous Southern California resort town of Big Bear Lake.

The goal of the camp is to prepare at altitude with specific training prior to the Tour of the Gila. Known for its high altitude conditions, the Tour of the Gila is the next stop on the UCI America’s Tour.

By utilizing the incredible resources of Big Bear Lake, Cylance Pro Cycling plans to be as prepared as possible for one of the hardest races in the North American circuit.
