The Bowral Classic is back

In 2016 more than 3,000 people enjoyed the inaugural Bowral Classic, a one-day Gran Fondo style event held in the cycling-centric Southern Highlands of New South Wales

Unanimously considered a massive success, participants not only enjoyed a sensational day of cycling, but helped raise more than $100,000 for those most in need!

More In Store For 2017

The big news is the exciting course changes for this year’s Bowral Classic.

Come October 22 you’ll have the option of one of three rides - the 45km Social Classic (that includes tokens for coffee, cake, wine and cheese along the way!), the 120km Challenge Classic (no wine & cheese here but as many banana’s & Endura gels as you need at the rest stops!) and the big one, the gruelling 160km Maxi Classic. Read more about the 2017 course options here.

Introducing The Platinum Classic

For 2017 we also have the Platinum Classic, a two-day, all-inclusive  5 star package that offers the ultimate cycling experience.

Riders who sign up for the Bowral Classic Platinum will be competing under the tutorage of Olympian, Tour de France stage winner and Australian cycling legend Bradley McGee. Find out more about this unique cycling opportunity here.

Charity Focus - Chris O’Brien Lifehouse

In this, our first Bowral Classic newsletter for 2017, we’re going to introduce you to one of our key charity partners, The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

‘Lifehouse’ is a world-class, not-for-profit integrated cancer treatment centre and fully operational cancer hospital based in Sydney. They are wonderful supporters of the Bowral Classic and many of last year’s participants chose Lifehouse as their preferred charity. You can read more about the organisation’s life-saving work in this in-depth article.
