This event has gained cult status, with riders travelling from all over the UK and Europe to test their legs against Yorkshire’s most notorious roads. Here are a couple of five star reviews from our 2017 finishers, Andrew Woods “Served up exactly what it said on the tin! Brutal but great day out on the bike and the best organised event I’ve ever done” and Andy Simpson “You want hills and the great Yorkshire countryside, then this is the sportive for you”
Director of Struggle Events Ltd Matthew Mannakee says “Anyone who has yet to experience riding their bike in Yorkshire, Struggle Dales is great way to visit Harrogate for the weekend and tick-off one of the toughest one-day rides in the UK”
Yorkshire will host the 2019 World Cycling Championships over 9 days in Harrogate. “Although the routes for 2019 are yet to be announced, it is very likely the Road Championships will take in some of the same roads you will ride on the Struggle Dales next year” says Mr Mannakee
