Pinarello has launched a new dedicated gravel bike called the Grevil
With true Italian flair and styling, Italy's leading bike brand hits the gravel running with it's new bike for the hugely popular Gravel Fondo genre
The new gravel bike features a full carbon construction using Toray T700 and T11000 1k high modulus cloth respectively, along with the ability to accommodate both 700c and 650b wheels with tire clearances up to 42mm (700c) and 2.1in (650b).
The new Grevil adapts Pinarello’s Think Asymmetric concept, starting with the asymmetric downtube that offsets to counter drivetrain inputs towards the traditional threaded bottom bracket.
The new Grevil also feature front and rear 142x12mm and 100x12mm flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes, along with a newly designed Fork Flap that shrouds the front disc brake in an effort to improve aerodynamics.
The bike is available in six standard frames sizes (44-59cm) and five color options.
The new Grevil will be available in two different frameset options. The standard Grevil uses a mid-to-high modulus T700 carbon frame construction and will be available as a complete bike only.
Then a second Grevil+ gets the same design in a hi-mod T1100 ‘Dream’ carbon construction featuring something called ‘Nanoalloy Technology’.
