Registration for 2022 LEPAPE Marmotte Granfondo Alpes Opens

The 2022 edition of the LEPAPE Marmotte Granfondo Alpes will take place on Sunday July 3rd

Registrations for the LEPAPE Marmotte Granfondo Alpes are now open!

The LEPAPE Marmotte Granfondo is one of most popular and toughest Gran Fondo's in the world.

Every year, over 7,500 passionate cyclists from around the world and take on some of the Alps’ most feared and famous climbs: the Col du Glandon, the Col du Télégraphe, the Col du Galibier and the legendary Alpe d’Huez.

Put together it's 175km and 5000m of climbing!

The event limits the number of available spots to 7,500. The majority of participants come from abroad: 88% or 6,600 international Gran Fondo fans!

Every cyclist has come across fascinating stories from cyclists of all nationalities tackling the four legandary climbs in the Alps. 

On the first Saturday of July all champions cyclcits lin up for what has become an unmissable international cycling event. After the Tour de France the Marmotte Granfondo Alps is the most important Gran Fondo of the summer in the French Alps.

Participants of the Marmotte Granfondo Alps spend hours on their bike training to be able to finish on the legendary climb of Alpe d’Huez, whilst conquering 21 hairpins bends. It demands courage, dedication and determination to even attempt this challenge across Glandon, Télégraphe, Galibier and Alpe d’Huez.

Whether they aim for a certain time or just to be able to finish, every participant leaves Alpe d’Huez with a satisfying feeling knowing they have conquered this challenge. The LEPAPE Marmotte Gran Fondo Alps is a an ultimate Bucket List ride.
