The Mountains are Coming Meet the Appalachian Gap!

The Appalachian Gap is climb #1 for the Gran course. You'll hit the start of the climb at the 15-mile mark after riding up through Lincoln and into Jerusalem and onto Buels Gore. It's a steady climb with several sections reaching 15%+ grade. The final pinch reaching 20% grade then finishing at the summit. Look west and soak up the amazing views, it'll make all the suffering worth it. Once you turn the corner for the descent, the views to the east open up, just don't stare too long, this is a fast drop with tight turns that will keep your adrenaline flowing, your heart pumping, and your grin widening.

The Mountains are Coming Meet the Appalachian Gap!

The Vermont Gran Fondo gran course traverses four gaps with 11,000+ feet’ of climbing back and forth across the spine of the Green Mountains. Sound daunting? Try a Medio Fondo with 7,000+ feet of climbing over 85 miles. Challenge yourself and check this one off your bucket list!
