Overview: The inaugural Maryland Cycling Classic supported by UnitedHealthcare is America’s top ranked  

professional cycling race. A full weekend of family-friendly community events begins Thursday, September 1 and will culminate when sixteen teams of world class cyclists from over 20 countries race the 120-mile course through Baltimore County before finishing along Pratt St. in downtown Baltimore on Sunday, September 4. Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Location: Lancaster St. between Exeter St. and S. Central Ave (HarborEast)  

Team Introductions are a key part of the pageantry of international cycling, as athletes are introduced with interviews.   Fans will be introduced to the cyclists from 16 teams and more than 20 countries around the world, including Tour de France stage winners, Olympians, and National Champions . Exhibitors, including a beer lounge, will be available. Maryland Cycling Classic is partnering with HarborEast, The Atlas Group and Visit Baltimore to host this Maryland Cycling Classic ’Block Party’. 

Introductions will include:
