Dytor and Kelly fastest at the 2023 UCI Tour de Brisbane Gran Fondo

Over 1,600 cyclists rode the 100km Gran Fondo course around the city with well over 7,000 cyclists taking part over the wekend festival of cycling in the heart of Brisbane, the most cycling friendly city in Australia

In the 100km UCI Tour be Brisbane Gran Fondo, Keeno Dytor was fastest in a time of 2h 50m 57s ahead of Ben Gulley and Benjamin McDonough.

Dytor outsprinted the rest of the breakaway containing Gulley, McDonough, Elliott, Sprang and Watts

In the women's race, Phoebe Kelly was fastest in a time of 3h 21s ahead of Melissa Hinz and Michelle Bond.

Over 1,600 cyclists rode the 110km Gran Fondo with 1,200 participanting in the race.

The weekend festival hosted a recreational 50 and 80km ride plus the Elite races and Time Trials with well over 7,000 cyclists participating.

Over 425 cyclists who rode the 2023 UCI Tour be Brisbane Gran Fondo have qualified for the 2023 UCI Gran Fondo Championships.

In the Tour de Brisbane Gran Fondo Time Trial, Ben Gully was fastest, finishing the 20.1 kilometer long individual time trial in 33m, with Michelle Tickner the fastest women at 36m 40s.

The Gran Fondo was a qualifier for the 2023 UCI Gran Fondo Championships, the first three in each age category and the top 25% of each age category will be awarded with guaranteed entry to the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships being held in Scotland between August 3rd and 13th.
