Italians Patrick Facchini (Team Sildom Garda) and Annalisa Prato (OM.cc) emerged as champions, showcasing remarkable endurance and skill over the challenging 135-kilometer gran fondo course.

Participants faced four Category 1 climbs that tested their limits. Patrick Facchini, determined to improve upon his second and third place finishes in previous years, executed a strategic and aggressive race plan. After four grueling hours, Facchini made a decisive attack on a steep 16% gradient, crossing the finish line solo with an impressive final time of 4:11:29. Francesco Bongiorno followed closely, finishing in 4:11:55, while Giuseppe Orlando and Stefano Bonanomi completed the podium with times of 4:12:41.

In the women’s category, 27-year-old Annalisa Prato showcased her dominance by finishing well ahead of her competitors, securing victory with a remarkable time of 4:54:18—30 minutes clear of the second-place finisher. Sarah Palfrader claimed the runner-up position with a time of 5:23:21, while Beer Manuela Elisabeth rounded out the podium in 5:47:44.

The event also featured an 80-kilometer medio fondo, where 24-year-old Davide Pantano (Zerotest) and 29-year-old Elisa Leardini (MGK-Vis Promotech) emerged victorious, clocking in at 2:29:01 and 2:56:46, respectively. Their performances added excitement to a day filled with competitive spirit and camaraderie among cyclists.
