Celebrated for its breath-taking routes and vibrant community spirit, the Marin Century attracts cyclists from across the nation, showcasing the stunning landscapes of Marin County. Recognized by Outside Magazine as one of the Top 25 Rides in the world, this event is not only a celebration of cycling but also a promotion of healthy living and local tourism.

Participants can choose from five diverse routes, tailored to different skill levels: the 62 mile Metric Century, a challenging 100-mile Century with 6,200 feet of climbing, the grueling Double Metric with 11,000 feet of elevation gain, the scenic Mt. Tam route (93 miles with 9,000 feet of climbing), or the more accessible Geronimo at 37 miles.

Riders will start their journey at Stafford Lake Park in Novato, navigating through the picturesque foothills of Mount Tamalpais and the breath-taking coast of Tomales Bay. The Century route remains the most popular, appealing to both novice and seasoned cyclists alike.

"Whether it's your first Century or your 50th, completing 100 miles in one day is an iconic experience," said Ken Potter, President of the Marin Cycling Club, “For those seeking a more demanding challenge, the Double Metric Century offers steep climbs and technical descents, perfect for experienced cyclists”.
