2026 L’Étape du Tour Femmes avec Zwift Results: Victoria Stansfield and Thibaut Clément Take Victory
British rider Victoria Stansfield claimed her second L’Étape du Tour Femmes title, while Thibaut Clément delivered a dominant performance to secure the men’s victory, giving Team Materiel-Velo a prestigious double win on Mont Ventoux.
The 2026 edition sold out in advance, attracting 8,050 cyclists to one of the most anticipated granfondo events of the year. As tradition dictates, the route mirrored the upcoming Stage 7 of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, which the pros will race tomorrow, Friday 7 August.
Starting in Vaison-la-Romaine, riders faced 111.7 km and 2,950 metres of climbing through the Baronnies, the Rhône Valley vineyards, and the jagged Dentelles de Montmirail. The course tackled the Col de Suzette and Col de la Madeleine before joining the official Tour de France Femmes route and finishing atop the legendary Mont Ventoux via Bédoin — 15.7 km at a punishing 8.8% average gradient.
Stansfield, who only began cycling in 2025, continues her meteoric rise. After winning the inaugural L’Étape du Tour Femmes last year, she added the 2026 Campilaro Pyrenees stage race and the 2026 La Marmotte Granfondo Alpes women’s title to her palmarès. Her second Ventoux triumph confirms her status as one of the strongest new climbers in the European granfondo scene.
On the men’s side, Thibaut Clément reinforced his reputation as one of France’s premier elite granfondo riders. His 2026 season has been exceptional: victory at L’Ornaise with a 41 km/h average speed, second place at La Marmotte Alpes, and multiple wins and podiums in national amateur races. His consistency across both 2025 and 2026 — particularly in high-mountain events — marks him as one of the most versatile and reliable long-distance competitors in France.
