Keller led a strong men’s podium alongside Peter Stetina and Cameron Cogburn, while Kulchinsky topped the women’s field ahead of Amber Ferreira and Charlotte Lellman.

John Keller set a blistering new record time of 47m 21s, beating the previous mark held by former WorldTour professional turned gravel racer Ian Boswell, who set a time of 50m 15s. Ex-professional and “Worst Retired Cyclist” Phil Gaimon held the 2022 record at 50m 38s.

Keller is also a three-time Pikes Peak record holder, further cementing his status as one of America’s premier uphill specialists.

Kulchinsky’s 1h 4m 6s is one of the strongest women’s performances ever recorded on Mount Washington, placing her among the elite female climbers who have taken on the mountain’s notorious gradients.

The Mt. Washington Auto Road was constructed by hand and opened in 1861. It presents a formidable challenge, climbing over 4,000 feet in just 7.6 miles. Its steep gradients and dramatic weather have made it an iconic destination for cyclists seeking to test their limits.

Mount Washington is known for some of the most extreme weather ever recorded in the United States including:

- Lowest Air Temperature: −47°F (−44°C)
- Lowest Wind Chill: −108°F (−78°C)
- Wind Gusts: up to 127 mph

The summit buildings are engineered to withstand 300 mph winds, and many structures are literally chained to the mountain. The observatory proudly uses the slogan: “Home of the World’s Worst Weather.”

The Mount Washington Hillclimb continues to be a top bucket-list ride, consistently featured in Gran Fondo Guide Awards, the Top U.S. Hillclimb Challenges in 2018, 2019, and 2025.
