2026 RBC GranFondo Whistler Results: Mackenzie Fleming and Nathan Peterson Shine
Californian teenager stole the show at the 2026 RBC GranFondo Whistler, one of Canada's largest amateur cycling events. Red Truck Racing p/b Mosaic Homes teams stamped their authority on the St. Regis Cup.

More than 1,000 riders tackled the iconic 122-kilometre point-to-point route from Vancouver to Whistler, one of the only fully traffic-free Gran Fondo courses on the continent.
Nathan Peterson (19, Pleasanton, CA) surged to victory in 03:31:34, edging North Vancouver’s David Collings by four seconds and Vancouver’s Paul Moffat by six seconds in one of the tightest podiums in event history.
In the women’s race, Mackenzie Fleming (Vancouver) claimed the title in 03:42:29, ahead of defending champion Carolyn Russell and Vancouver’s Victoria Leader, who completed the podium.
The 2026 St. Regis Cup delivered one of its most tightly-contested editions to date, with elite amateur squads battling across the Sea-to-Sky corridor in a fast, tactical race defined by surges, counter-attacks, and relentless team coordination. The Cup, held within the RBC GranFondo Whistler weekend, is the premier team-based competition — where depth, discipline, and drafting matter just as much as individual strength.
This year, Red Truck Racing p/b Mosaic Homes stamped their authority on the men’s field, executing a near-perfect race plan. From the opening kilometres, the team kept their leaders sheltered, responded instantly to every acceleration, and controlled the pace through the decisive climbs. Their trio of Cooper Langard, Kent Ross, and Manu Moore formed the strongest front block of the day, finishing within seconds of one another and securing the overall team victory.
TAG Cycling Race Team mounted the most serious challenge, launching repeated attacks through Squamish and pushing the pace on the final ascent toward Whistler. Their lead trio — Nathan Fowler, Maxim Wojciechowski, and Heron Land Gilles — matched Red Truck blow-for-blow, but ultimately could not crack the defending champions.
Bici Squadra Mixed rounded out the overall top three teams, powered by a standout ride from Lucas Bruchet, who set one of the fastest times of the entire Cup. Their depth held strong behind him, with Alex Murison and Cam Fitzmaurice securing the team’s podium position.
On the women’s side, Red Truck Racing p/b Mosaic Homes (Women) delivered a commanding performance. Larissa Black set the tone early with a blistering pace, while teammates Ngaire Barraclough and Eleanor Winchell consolidated the team’s lead with disciplined pacing and strong finishing climbs. Their combined times placed them well ahead of the competition.
Steed Cycles (Mixed) and Diversion W completed the women’s team podiums, each showcasing impressive depth and consistency across their top three riders.
The 2026 St. Regis Cup once again proved why it remains one of the most prestigious amateur team competitions in North America — a race where teamwork is everything, margins are razor-thin, and the strongest squads rise to the top.
