2026 Six Gap Century and Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride Results: Schneider and Kovack Blitz North Georgia Ride
1,300 riders took on the 37th Annual Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty, one of the most demanding climbing challenges in the Southeast USA. Starting in Dahlonega, Georgia, cyclists battled the infamous North Georgia ascents — Neels Gap, Jack’s Gap, Unicoi Gap, Wolfpen Gap, Woody Gap, and the brutal Hogpen Gap, whose 12–15% gradients routinely break even elite riders.
The combination of steep pitches, tight switchbacks, and long exposed climbs makes Six Gap one of America’s toughest century rides.
The men’s Six Gap Century saw Isaac Kovack and Simon Khouri scorch the course in 4:48:51, one of the fastest times recorded in recent years, with Sergio Fredes chasing hard to secure third. In the age categories, Carson Yoder, Max Heeden and Daniel Gomez topped M0–29; Sergio Fredes, Felipe Aros and Nathan Hockert led M30–39; while Kovack, Khouri and Kirill Kim dominated M40–49.
Meggie Schneider delivered a commanding win in the women’s Six Gap Century, finishing in 5:23:18 after powering over Hogpen and Wolfpen with precision. Clarisse Oliver Coupey and Trish Cohen completed the podium. In the categories, Schneider, Carly George and Zarina Huber led F30–39; Cohen and Jeanine Seeger topped F40–49; while Natalie Mullins, Yerany Morejon and Jan Burger were strongest in F50–59.
The Three Gap Fifty produced equally fierce racing. Ulisses Abbud flew around the course in 2:43:55, holding off Brayan Borrego and Geony Borrego Lee. Category standouts included Borrego, Borrego Lee and Evan Redwine in M0–29; Brian Miller and Redwine in M30–39; and Abbud, Yussef Jamis and Raul Romero in M40–49.
Fernanda Valesi dominated the women’s Three Gap Fifty in 3:28:31, climbing aggressively and descending with confidence. Elizabeth Engler and Paola Perrotta rounded out the top three. Bianca Alvarez-Gomez topped F0–29; Valesi and Alina Harrison-Trent led F30–39; Meghan Bailey and Kat Matthews were strongest in F40–49; and Perrotta, Monica Rossi-Montero and Monica Radu topped F50–59.
The Valley Ride offered a fast, rolling alternative without the monster gradients of Hogpen and Wolfpen. Jason Hitchcock and Matt Rose led the men with near-identical finishing times, while Jayda Distefano topped the women’s field with a superb ride. Alec Nathan, Javier Aresti and George Whetmore were the strongest male chasers, while Alexandra Williams and Price Andersen completed the top women’s trio.
Another huge year for Six Gap — brutal climbs, fast racing, and standout performances across all categories.
