The third edition of Schleck Granfondo on the took on the training routes of former Tour de France professional Frank Schleck, and reached another participants record. The 155km Gran Fondo was SOLD OUT.
The Gran Fondo started in 4 waves of three minutes, followed by the Mediofondo in 2 waves. The Granfondo was the qualifying distance for men aged 19-59 while women and men 60+ rode the Medio Fondo to qualify for the 2019 UCI Gran Fondo Championships in Poznan, Poland.
2011 Tour de France winner Cadel Evans was reunited with his former podium winners, where Andy got second and Frank third.
The event started and finished in the beautiful town of Mondorf-les-Bains with a challenging course through the Luxemburg countryside.
