Swissman Stefan Küng wins his second stage at the Digital Swiss 5

Stefan Küng (Swiss National Team) paced himself early on and surged ahead to overhaul his rivals and overtake Matthews before the finish line

Michael Matthews launched a huge attack from the and bui;t upan impressive lead. Küng slowly worked his way through the field on the first climb, while as Ethan Hayter (Ineos) and Silvan Dillier (AG2R La Mondiale) attacked.

On the second climb, Küng chased down Hayter. On the descent to the finish line, the Swiss rider surged in pursuit of race leader Matthews.

"I learned from the race two days ago you need to go out hard if you can and then just bring it home. I knew I had to try to get out early and try to hold him off but he was too strong again," Matthews said.
