The BWR Mexico will be the last date of the Belgian Waffle Ride Gravel Series 2025 and will have the largest prize pool of the BWR 2025 series - $5,000 USD prize purse for top Waffle riders.

The 2024 edition was the largest gravel race in Mexican history with well over 550 riders and boasted a female participation which was over 22% of the field.
The spirit, enthusiasm, and passion these riders, who came from all over, brought to the event were amazing to witness. The cheers still echo, the wheels still spin in our minds as we look back on the wild ride that was the Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR) Mexico in Queretaro. The hard core support and all-out enthusiasm turned this event into a full-throttle celebration of gravel cycling, brotherhood, and pure, unadulterated passion. We plan to amplify this pedalling positivity come November 22-23, 2025.

Set in the heart of central Mexico, the state of Querétaro, renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and breath-taking natural landscapes, will once again host the second edition of the Belgian Waffle Ride in Mexico. Querétaro City, the vibrant state capital, is the perfect destination for Waffleurs, offering a mix of urban and rural terrains, budget-friendly accommodations.
Querétaro International Airport (QRO) offers direct and connecting flights from most major U.S. cities. A stress-free alternative to Mexico City with shorter customs lines and easy access to the venue.
Querétaro is celebrated for its well-preserved colonial architecture, featuring charming plazas and cobblestone streets. The historic center of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to several significant landmarks such as the majestic Aqueduct, the Temple of Santa Clara, and the bustling main square where the Cathedral of Santiago stands proudly.
Beyond the city, the natural beauty of Querétaro awaits. The state is home to several national parks, including the stunning La Sierra Gorda, which offers challenging road and gravel cycling routes through rugged mountains and pristine wilderness. WAFFLE DISTANCE +180KM:
Total cash prize of $100,000.00 pesos + prizes in kind. Cash will be awarded to the first 5 places Male and 5 places Female General
1st Place $25,000 pesos + trophy + BWR Mexico 2025 champion jersey
2nd Place $15,000 pesos + trophy
3rd Place $5,000 pesos + trophy
4th Place $3,000 pesos
5th Place $2,000 pesos
6th Place to 10th Place Prize in kind
The first 3 places for men and first 3 places for women per category will be awarded in kind ( No duplicity of prize, if I qualify in the first 10 places of the General)

WAFER DISTANCE +100KM: The first 3 places for men and first 3 places for women per category will be awarded in kind.
WANNA DISTANCE +50KM: The first place for Men and first place for Women by category will be awarded in kind.
E-BIKE WANNA DISTANCE +50KM AND WAFER +100KM: Prizes in kind will be awarded to the first place in Men and first place in the general Female in each distance.
