The Engadin Cycle Marathon is one of the best-known, largest and most beautiful cycle marathons in Switzerland.

The event is part of the Swiss Cycling Top Tour, for which races qualify that are characterized by top quality, panoramic views and beautiful scenery. The race will take place this year from June 30 to July 3, 2023, and will therefore be spread over three days. Thanks to the new concept, all participants will have the opportunity to ride all five passes. The total of 221 kilometers of racing against a dream backdrop thus offer various advantages for racing bike enthusiasts and new chances to win.

The municipality of Zernez is the host and organizer of the Engadin Cycle Marathon, which attracts 1,500 athletes from all over Europe to Graubünden every year. At the gateway to the only Swiss National Park, Zernez is the starting point for numerous hiking routes into the oldest protected area in the Alps. At the intersection of the Ofenpass road and the Engadin route, Zernez is also the perfect starting point for racing cyclists and Gümmelers: a good dozen fantastic pass routes, mostly beyond 2,000 meters, are waiting to be discovered.
