Distances: 20, 42 miles
Difficulty: Gently rolling terrain with one or two short hills

Now in its third year, the Handlebarley will feature two incredible fall days of gravel riding in the southern Adirondacks. Whether you ride one, or both days, you're in for some of the areas most incredible dirt... and views. Best part is you can sign up to ride just Saturday, only Sunday, or make it a weekend and go the full monty.

The event officially kicks off late Saturday afternoon with a 20-mile out-and-back route from Paradox Brewery to stunning Elk Lake Lodge. Riders will enjoy an insanely smooth section of gravel en route to one of the most stunning spots in the Adirondacks. Once there, we'll take a tour of the property before cruising back to the brewery.

Sunday is all about the original Handlebarley route featuring 42 miles of some of rolling paved and gravel terrain showcasing historic farms, 1800's stacked stone walls, remnants of old mills, and sweet smelling cedar groves. The highlight of this route is a rest stop in Ironville at the Penfield Homestead Museum. Built in 1827 by Allen Penfield whose son, Captain James Penfield, was a Union officer in the Civil War. It features original artifacts from the Penfield family and other historic Crown Point homes, as well as exhibits covering the local iron industry, town history and involvement in the Civil War.

To cap it off, we'll celebrate a fabulous ride with a pizza feast, delicious craft beer and live music at the brewery.
