Distances: 45, 66, 100 miles
Difficulty: Difficult terrain with longer, steeper hills
Limited to: 500 Participants

Join us for one of three routes that wind through the quiet rural roads in Virginia's Piedmont region, filled with rolling hills, horse farms, and pastureland. Whether this will be your first time riding this region or your twentieth, you'll be wowed by its beauty, and you'll appreciate the event amenities and support for riders. All three routes start and end at Barrel Oak Winery and Brewery in Delaplane, VA, about an hour outside of Washington, DC. The venue will provide a relaxing place to hang out and socialize after the event, regardless of the weather. Registration includes a delicious BBQ lunch (with a vegetarian option) and a raffle of biking accessories.

Routes are available at ridewithgps.com.

You can start to ride as early as 7:00 am. If you are planning on riding the century, we suggest you start as early in the day as possible, close to 7:00 am. There will be people to assist with parking and registration as early as 6:30 am.

There is no closing time for the century. We are riding on public roads. Feel free to take as long as you want. Food will be
available until 5:00 pm.

Registration Fees

$100 for Potomac Pedaler club members and $135 for non-members.

Registration at this price is guaranteed until August 1st, after which the price may increase. Day of event registration allowed, but we will not be accepting cash on site.

Thanks to the generosity of Kaiser Permanente, there is a limited scholarship fund for riders for whom the cost of registration is barrier to participation. We are particularly interested in providing financial assistance to young riders, riders of color, and riders who worked for a federal agency or a federal contractor and recently lost their jobs.

Included

Registration includes a choice of any of the three carefully curated and supported routes with well stocked rest stops and gps maps. There will be at least three stocked rest stops for the century and two rest stops for the metric century. Each rest stop will have water, hydration drink, and road food available.

There will be support for mechanical issues and the phone number for the SAG wagon will be available on the morning of the ride. First aid will not be available. For medical emergencies, riders should call 911.

There will be a delicious lunch afterwards in a great venue. The BBQ lunch includes non-alcoholic beverages and
locally produced wine and beer will be available for purchase from Barrel Oak. There will be a free raffle with many great prizes.

Non-riders wishing to enjoy the BBQ will need to purchase a meal ticket in advance
