Distances: 750km
Difficulty: Difficult terrain with longer, steeper hills

The Steppenwolf Berlin – Usedom – Berlin (BUB) is a non-commercial self-supported bikepacking challenge across the terrain from Berlin to Usedom and back. With a lot of variety between technical trails on the Oderbruch, Usedom's beach promenade, some nasty cobblestone pieces, Brandenburg sand passages and several kilometers along Brandenburg lakes, it goes right through the "steppe". The technically and physically more demanding wild track is between 750 and 850 km long every year, the gravel track rolls better and has a length of 550-600 km. In between, there are three checkpoints where there is also the possibility to set up camp overnight. Whether alone or in a pack, to bolt up the pace or as a personal challenge - the Steppenwolf is there for everyone. It is not a classic bike race, but a wild ride between the metropolis and the sea that really challenges everyone.
