The multistage event will go to southwestern Yunnan and starts with a Prologue TT in Mangshi, Dehong. Five big stages follow in Mangshi, Baoshan-Tengchong, Lincang-Fengqing, Pu'Er-Simao and finally Xishuangbanna-Jinghong. The last three are new cities with three new courses including more colorful ethnic cultures and regional features.

This Cycling Festival, which is often called Granfondo Yunnan for short, is a multi-day cycling event for trained cyclists. It is personal challenge to complete the distance for each participant. However, for beginning cyclists there is also a short distance race each day

In the past ten years, thousands of cyclists have visited Yunnan to join the race. The beautiful course and rich tourism resources in Yunnan have made the event more and more popular.
