Widely considered the Yorkshires premier cycling sportive, the White Rose Classic offers three routes catering for all abilities, all routes take you into the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

You will take in some of the iconic climbs which have made the Yorkshire Dales a cycling mecca for professional (2014 Tour de France, 2018 Tour de Yorkshire, 2019 World Championships) and amateur's alike.

The Short Route, (Updated for 2023) is 46miles (74km) and takes in 3005ft/915m climbing. We've removed the Norwood Edge climb & the descent down Dibbles Bridge en-route to Grassington. This route will now descend Skyreholme and loop round to Hebden en-route to Grassington returning along the picturesque Wharfedale valley, riders then have the option to tackle a local climb up Langbar or bypass this back to the finish line.

The Challenge Route (84miles/135km and 6911ft/2106m) retains the Norwood edge climb & descent of Dibbles bridge en-route to Grassington.  The route the heads towards Littondale before baring right in Arncliffe towards 'Halton Gill Climb before heading towards Settle. From there, riders slog up the notorious Albert Hill climb and out of the Ribble Valley, returning via Wharfedale.

The epic Hawes Long Route (120miles/192km and 10,645ft/3245m!) is right up there with the hardest Dales routes. Whilst retaining the Norwood edge climb & descent of Dibbles bridge en-route to Grassington. It adds the infamous Fleet Moss climb on the way to Hawes and the misleadingly quaint-sounding Coal Road from Garsdale Head towards Dent. It then heads into 2 of the quietest dales: Deepdale and Kingsdale. It is a route which your head and legs will remember for years to come.
