The 17th annual Loon Echo Trek is the largest event benefiting the Loon Echo Land Trust! Proceeds from the event and sponsorship help us in our mission to conserve land for future generations. 

 The 2017 Trek will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Shawnee Peak Ski Area in Bridgton, ME. Hike 4.5 or 6 miles across the ridge line of beautiful Pleasant Mountain, or bike 25, 50, 80 or 100 miles through the scenic hills and valleys of western Maine. Do a bit of both with the Trek's Hike & Bike option! New! This year we have added a Time Trial segment!

7:00-9:30AM      Day Of Registration Available

7:00AM               Check in starts for 80 and 100 mile rides, and Hike & Bike

                           Shawnee Peak Ski Area parking lot

8:00AM               Century and 80 mile rides depart. Hike & Bike shuttles

                           depart immediately after cyclists leave.

8:15-10:00AM    Check in for 25 and 50 mile bike rides, and hikes

                           Shawnee Peak Ski Area parking lot

8:20-10:00AM    Shuttles to hike trailheads depart

                           Leave every 20 to 30 minutes

10:00AM             25 & 50 mile rides depart

12:00-5:30PM    Post-Trek party

                            Allagash beer, Massages from Richard Bader Physical Therapy

                           Taco and baked potato bar from Shawnee Peak

                           12:00-4:30 PM - Live music  (Bands TBA)
