Compete Solo, Stay Motivated, Support Cancer with CJF's KOM/QOM and Sprint competitions

The Cancer Journeys Foundation (CJF) is here to spread some joy and healthy competition! In the coming months, they’ll be providing cycling enthusiasts with fun opportunities to train and compete, while complying with social-distancing guidelines. Sound good? Stay with us!

If you haven't heard, CJF’s KOM/QOM and Sprint competitions are based on Strava.com segments that you can ride anytime (or multiple) times between June 15 and December 31, 2020. Registering for their competitions gives you the opportunity to put your training program to use, even though organized cycling competitions may be canceled through a major portion of 2020.

Submit your favorite Strava Segment to be considered for the KOM/QOM and Sprint Competitions!

CJF is in the process of finalizing six KOM/QOM and six Sprint segments and they would greatly appreciate your input!

Please send a link (or links) to your favorite Strava sprint and climb segments, and they may be chosen as an official competition segment! Email as many links as you would like to Tess@CancerJourneysFoundation.org, or click the button below to submit your segments through the CJF website. The deadline to submit a segment is June 14, 2020.

About The Cancer Journeys Foundation

The Cancer Journeys Foundation’s vision is a future in which the CJF will improve the lives of cancer survivors and those at risk for cancer by transforming the cancer journey experience from uncertainty, fear, and desperation, to one of hope, self- empowerment, and joy of life.
CJF envisions a future where every cancer survivor and caregiver has quick and easy access to the information and support they need to develop and implement their unique cancer survivor journey plan. A future where no one dies from cancer because they did not know they had the disease early enough for effective treatment or did not know what they personally could do to keep their cancer at bay.

If you have any questions about the Cancer Journeys Foundation and/or the KOM/QOM and Sprint competitions, please feel free to email Tess@CancerJourneysFoundation.org and she will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your interest in our foundation and Strava-based competitions. Be well. Stay safe. Keep the rubber side down!
